Local Area

Camber sands - a winter scene

Here at Camber Consulting we love our local area. In fact, we love it so much that we named our company after it! We have been here since 2005, with a brief interlude in Cornwall, but are so proud of where we live that we dedicated a whole page on our website to show you all how beautiful Camber and the surrounding areas of Sussex and Kent are!

Sand Dunes at Camber

Camber Sands
Camber is a small village on the South East coast of England, primarily famous for its miles of golden sand beach with long ridges of sand dunes.
The sand dunes are a designated Site of Nature Conservation Importance and are carefully managed to prevent problems with wind-blown sand to the local area. Camber is the perfect Family getaway location as well with a Holiday Park in the centre of the village, offering vast amounts of activities for the whole family to enjoy, as well as the amazing beach, picture above, which is well known as one of the best in the country. For those of you that enjoy a quick round, located just outside Camber village is one of the country’s finest golf courses. There are also some great local pubs and restaurants well worth a visit when you are in the area.

Rye High Street

Rye
Camber is very close to the beautiful and historic town of Rye. As one of the Cinque Ports, Rye is a bustling town with a vast and impressive history. It is full of old world charm mixed very tastefully with modern life.
Rye is a great place to spend time with a vast array of lovely boutique shops that can cater for any taste, as well as offering an extensive range of amazing local pubs and top notch restaurants for people to enjoy whenever takes their fancy. Rye is very well-connected with Ashford being just 20 minutes on the branch line. From Ashford to London St Pancras is only a further 35 minutes using the HS1 link to the capital.
